Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Appropriate experience in a stores environment.
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence.
- The physical ability to handle and move stock.
- A willingness to rotate within the Supply Chain Section and relieve colleagues when required.
- A willingness to work overtime at short notice when operationally necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide support within the hospital’s stores and warehouse environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Warehouse Clerk with the handling of stock.
- Receiving and issuing goods.
- Delivering store stock to hospital end-users.
- Rotating stock according to the first-in, first-out principle.
- Performing messenger duties within the hospital when required.
- Cleaning stores and non-storage areas within the main stores.
- Assisting in other stores when required.
- Assisting the Warehouse Clerk with capturing requisitions.
- Capturing or processing issue vouchers on the LOGIS system.
- Responding to written and telephone enquiries relating to warehouse management.
- Performing relief duties when required.
- Providing administrative and operational support to the supervisor.
