Driver Responsibilities
The Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and professional transport services while supporting field and logistics activities.
Key duties include:
- Transporting staff, visitors, partners, equipment and supplies as authorised.
- Supporting field visits, community activities, meetings and other Seascape operations.
- Following road safety standards, AFO safety procedures, security requirements and safeguarding guidelines.
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and ensuring the assigned vehicle remains clean, safe and roadworthy.
- Maintaining vehicle records, including logbooks, mileage, fuel usage and other required documentation.
- Reporting vehicle faults, accidents, incidents and security concerns promptly.
- Providing professional, respectful and punctual transport services.
- Performing other reasonable logistics-related duties that support Seascape operations.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE).
- Valid Class C Driving Licence.
- Professional Driving Certificate from VETA, NIT or an equivalent institution.
- At least three years of professional driving experience.
- Good knowledge of road safety practices and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to use smartphones, GPS and basic digital communication tools.
- Willingness and ability to work mainly within Kigamboni District.
